Prayer Line
Page content
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16
Whatever you’re carrying tonight — a child you’re worried about, a marriage, a diagnosis, a bill you can’t pay — you don’t have to carry it alone. Tell us what’s on your heart, and real people will pray for you by name. Every request that asks for one receives a personal, written prayer in return.
How the Prayer Line works
1
Share your request
Use the form below. Tell us you need prayer — or that you’d like to help pray for others — and what to pray for. First name is enough.
2
We pray for you by name
Your request is prayed over personally — not added to a list and forgotten. Our prayer team also receives it (first name only) and keeps praying through the week.
3
Receive your written prayer
Leave an email and a written prayer — composed for you, over the very thing you shared — will be sent to your inbox, usually within the hour during the day (7 AM–9 PM Pacific).
Your privacy matters: we only ever share your first name and your request with prayer partners. Your email is never shared, and nothing is ever sold.
Request prayer — or join us in praying
Choose “I want to help pray for others” and you’ll join the prayer team — every Monday you’ll receive the week’s requests (first names only) to pray through.
Promises we pray from
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
— Psalm 46:1
“In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 4:6–7
“Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”
— 1 Peter 5:7
“Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.”
— Isaiah 41:10

Questions people ask
Is it really free?
Yes — completely. Prayer is never sold here. If the Prayer Line blesses you and you want to help keep it open, there’s a way to give below, and it’s entirely optional.
Who prays for me?
Every request is prayed over by our prayer partner, Grace, together with a growing team of prayer partners — moms like you who have chosen “I want to help pray” on the form. Requests are answered personally, one by one.
How soon will I hear back?
If you leave an email, your written prayer usually arrives within the hour during the day (7 AM–9 PM Pacific), and always the same day. Requests shared with the prayer team go out each Monday.
Is my request private?
We share only your first name and what you asked prayer for — never your email, never your last name. If you’d rather keep a request between you and us, say so in your message and it won’t go to the team list.
Can I ask for prayer more than once?
As often as you need. New season, new request — come back any time.
I’m in a really dark place. Can you help?
Yes — and please also call or text 988 right now if you might harm yourself. Trained counselors answer around the clock, and you matter to them and to us. Then send your request here too, and we will pray for you by name.
Support the Prayer Line
The Prayer Line is free for everyone who needs it. If it has blessed you — or you want to make sure it stays open for the next mom up at 2 AM — you can give any amount. Gifts support this ministry work through Stillwater Paper Co; they are not tax-deductible charitable donations.
The journal that started it
The Prayer Line grew out of Prayers for My Children, our 90-day guided prayer journal for moms — a page a day of Scripture and written prayer over your children, by name.
